Dear Basava Samithi 2023/24 Members,

As scheduled, the Annual General Meeting of Basava Samithi of Australasia, Brisbane chapter was held on 28 July 2024 from 12 - 3 PM AEST at Garden City Library, Upper Mount Gravatt.

The incumbent President / Vice President / Secretary and treasurer were present for the AGM, along with a quorum of about 15 members while there were also some absences noted at the AGM. The Treasurer presented the financial report for the year 2023/24 during this meeting and vote of thanks was delivered by Hema Tumkur.

The Returning officer thus took charge to complete the incumbent committee formalities following which the incumbent committee of 2023/24 was dissolved. We have selected a new committee in the presence of all quorum and members. Here is the new committee that has been elected:
